Carini Of Curlie's Litter

Marie "Mama" Curlie and her 4 kittens were rescued from under a trailer in a MH Park on Mother's Day, 2026. Sire is unknown. We soon learned mama's strange donut tail was due to genetic mutations that result in a VERY RARE cat. Marie Curlie was a Ringtail, a breed known for their incredibly friendly demeanor and goofy-looking looped tails. Mama Curlie's babies all have extra muscular tails. Whether or not their tails eventually "ring", they share their mother's enhanced balance and friendly, outgoing demeanor. Mama and the other kittens were caught in traps but Carini successfully avoided us time after time. Catching her required two additional days and was achieved only by crawling under a stranger's trailer and laying on my back for hours, hoping she'd fall asleep on the axel. She finally did, but her somewhat traumatic capture required a little rehabilitation. Carini has regained full trust in humans and the only residual behavior is from hunger. She hears the slightest sound of food packaging and instantly appears. Largely due to the American Ringtail's overly friendly demeanor, Carini & Loopy have some skills/traits other cats generally don't. They lack all the behaviors expected of kittens from feral parents and were amazingly easy to socialize. They would do great in a home with kids, even little ones! Given a good introduction, they get along with peoples, strangers, kids, dogs, & other cats. Loud noises don't usually bother them, including thunder. Carini & Loo-Loo enjoy being held and even tolerate being cradled on their back like a baby (provided they're also receiving neck rubs). They love affection from head butts to butt scritches and require daily cat/human play time. They are proven lap nappers. Carini & Loopy are litter box "trained" and are working on going in the actual toilet. Just imagine NEVER EVER buying, lugging, scooping, cleaning, disposing of, or smelling cat litter!
