About the Kurilian Bobtail
A rare natural breed from Russia's Kuril Islands, the Kurilian Bobtail is known for its distinctive pom-pom tail — no two are alike, each consisting of 2 to 10 vertebrae in a unique kink pattern. Strong, wild-looking, and semi-cobby, they are surprisingly gentle, intelligent, and dog-like in personality. They love water and are excellent hunters and even fishers.
